Adult Roles & ResponsibilitiesHave you ever been a little confused about what life as an adult will bring? Look no further! This semester class for juniors and seniors will give you a glimpse into what it takes to be a grown-up. You'll learn how to cope with the challenges of life, create meaningful relationships with those around you, and gain strong decision-making skills.

Child DevelopmentBeing a parent is harder than it looks! Your little bundle of joy needs lots of care and nurturing, and this semester class will help you understand what you can do to help your child grow up to be healthy and strong. The class goes through a baby's development from conception to toddler, which will give you insight into the psychology of a child. You may even learn something about yourself! At one point in the class, you'll be able to take an electronic baby home for the weekend to get a little taste of what being a father or mother really entails.

ClothingThe mysteries of clothing production will be revealed to you in this semester class. You'll be able to complete at least three major sewing projects, along with other assignments to teach you the basics of working a sewing machine. You'll also learn about materials and how to choose the best kind for your project. It's a great class for aspiring clothing designers and homemakers alike, and if sewing turns out to be your forte, you can always take Clothing 2 to further your skills!

In this semester class you'll learn how fashion has evolved over time, as well as how specific designers have influenced the market. Financial LiteracyMoney drives our economy, so it's important that you know how to spend it wisely! You'll learn the ins and outs of investing in this semester class, which will no doubt help you after high school. You'll also learn about entrepreneurship, debt, and insurance, so by the end of this class we'll have you spending like a pro.

Food & NutritionAs teenagers, eating right can be difficult: school lunches could always be better, and fast-food companies seem to be directing their mouth-watering advertising right at you. Fear no more! This semester class will give you the chance to cook entrees, side dishes, and desserts that are both nutritious and delicious! Food & Nutrition 2 builds upon the first class and will provide even more opportunities for gaining food preparation knowledge.
